Hudco CMP Ceramic Rebuild
HUDCO CMP CERAMIC REBUILD is a cost effective alternative to replacing
expensive worn equipment. It is a "non-slumping "paste designed
to rebuild equipment badly worn or damaged by exposure to abrasive solids
moving at high velocities. Since the major component is "diamondhard"
silicon carbide, Ceramic Rebuild is NOT machinable
Although abrasion is blamed for most damaged to metals, other factors
such as electrolysis, cavitation or chemical attack contribute significantly
to their deterioration. Ceramic Rebuild's non-conductive, passivated
surface offers an outstanding balance of protection against these additional
factors. HUDCO'S Ceramic Rebuild costs only a fraction of other methods
such as overlay welding, which often creates problems of warping, stress
cracking and surface irregularities.
Equipment Examples Restored With HUDCO CMP CERAMIC REBUILD are:
- Pump Components
- Gate Valves
- Pulverizer Mills
- Tube Sheets
- Pipe Elbows

Instructions
Surface Preparation: Roughen surface by grinding or sandblasting
(3-5 mil profile). Surface must be completely dry with a minimum surface
temperature of 75°F.
Mixing: Mix 2 parts of Resin to 1 Part of Hardener
by weight. Kits are supplied in the correct ratio. Ensure that the sides
of the mixing container are scraped into the mixture. Mix several minutes,
until consistent color is achieved.
Application: Apply product to prepared surface and
use supplied tools to achieve desired finish.
Curing: At 75°F, product will gel in 20 min. Initial
cure will occur in 6 - 8 hours. Final Cure occurs in 1 Day. Curing can
be accelerated by heating the applied product to 140°F. Product
properties will also be improved by curing at this elevated temperature.
Safety Precautions:
Industrial use only. Keep away from children. Always use in well ventilated
areas. Prolonged exposure to resin or hardener may cause sensitization
and/or dermatitis. If eye contact occurs, irrigate promptly with clean
water for 15 minutes and call physician. Wash with soap and water any
areas of skin which come in contact with product. In the case of inhalation,
remove to fresh air and provide oxygen if necessary. If ingestion should
occur, call a physician at once.
Storage:
This product has a shelf life of 1 year and must be stored at a temperature
between 70°F and 85°F.
Warranty:
Because the storage, handling and application of these materials are
beyond our control, we can accept no liability for the results of their
use. Our liability is limitied only to replacement of any material proven
defective in manufacture.
